Classical Guitar Teachers
- Carlos Molina
- On the faculty of Miami Dade College. Started the guitar program at FIU among other accomplishments. Also the Miami International Guitar Competition and Miami Classical Guitar Society
- Rafael Padron
- On the faculty of the University of Miami and the Miami Conservatory of Music.
- Federico Bonacossa
- Classical guitarist based in Miami, Florida. He is currently teaching at the University of Miami where he is also pursuing his doctorate in Guitar Performance. Teaches private classical guitar lessons.
- Jesse Hale
- "New guitarist/composer in coral gables area. I am currently a doctoral student at UM and have been teaching music for 10 years in Elementary as well as high school and college settings. I am comfortable teaching with all age groups."
- Paul Brelin
- Paul Brelin, born Paul Brelinsky, has had an extensive and interesting career. Composing and publishing under his birth name he is a published author of instructional music books, and also has been the Director of Guitar Publications for Columbia Pictures Music Print division, a staff music arranger for Charles Hansen Publications, and strings editor for Maestro Magazine. He is also co-founder of the Brelin/Carey Big Band, a band that has appeared on A&E TV and performed with Diahann Carroll, Vic Damone, Tony Bennett among others.

- Ryoji Yamaguchi
- Guitarist Ryoji Yamaguchi is active as a performer, instructor, arranger and composer in fields such as Classical, Pop/Rock, Ethnic, and others. Yamaguchi has recently completed master of music degree in Classical Guitar from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. As an instructor, Ryoji Yamaguchi is able to teach in variety of styles such as Classical, Pop/Rock, basic Jazz, to theory and composition. Home lessons are $50/hour, and studio lessons are $40/hour.
- Paul Martin
- Raised in New York, PAUL MARTIN began playing the guitar at age twelve. His formal studies began with Jerry Willard while in High School. Afterward he attended the Bellas Artes in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico to further his studies in classical guitar.
Jazz Guitar Teachers
- Tom Lippincott
- Accepting intermediate to advanced students, teenage and up.
- Richie Zellon
- Columnist for "Jazz Improv" Magazine since 1999 who has taught jazz guitar at various major universities including FIU and USF.
